Westons Cider was established by Henry Weston at its home in Much Marcle, Herefordshire in 1878 and remains an independent and still family owned cider maker despite being one of the largest in the UK. The development of commercial cider making began in 1880 when Henry recognised the threat from overseas imports, which had been created by the British Empire, and Westons now produce over 30 different ciders and perries.
Caple Road is the UK's ﬁrst canned cider produced with genuine craft credentials. Slowly fermented fresh pressed English apple juice is produced in small batches and matured for up to for up to 18 months. The result is an uncompromising and challenging cider, with taste and ﬂavour at its heart, but delivered in a modern day look and format. Caple Road Blend 3 has now been followed by Blend 5, with further blends planned for future launch.
