Gin of the Month

We thought it was high time we launched our own Craft Drink Co Gin of the Month, providing us with the opportunity to spotlight one Gin that is both craft and truly remarkable in taste. If you like the look and sound of our recommendations, along with their suggested serves, why not ask for a sample bottle or place an order today!

February 2020

Hatched back in the summer of 2013, Two Birds Spirits was created by engineer and gin enthusiast Mark Gamble. Often found tinkering away in his workshop, it was only a matter of time before his two loves combined – and so ‘Gerard’, their very first copper still was built. Just 2 months after launching, their London Dry Gin was awarded Top Gold Award at the Craft Distillers Alliance and the team have never looked back. Two Birds spirits have gone on to win a number of awards both nationally and internationally!

Two Birds Parma Violet Gin

We have chosen this varietal as our February Gin of the Month for good reason! Not only is Parma Violet a favourite amongst gin flavours but it perfectly captures a nostalgic childhood sweetie flavour, infused with one of our favourite alcoholic tipples! What could be better?! The vibrancy in colour helps too, providing great shelf appeal whilst allowing us to experiment with a range of gorgeous looking cocktails!

Two Birds Parma Violet is incredibly floral, with parma violet sweeties, rose petal, lemon peel and an undercurrent of juniper.

Our Recommended Mixer

Our recommended mixer for such a flavoursome gin would be the Double Dutch Skinny Tonic.

This is a light mixer that will truly enhance the unique and compelling taste of the Two Birds Parma Violet Gin, along with other white spirits that offer a strong flavour.

The tonic itself has a nice texture with bubbles on the tip of the tongue. It is slightly sweet with a gentle citrus note.

Our Recommended Garnish

Garnish with lemon peel and rose petals. You could even go the extra mile and put crushed parma violet sweets around the rim of the glass!
