Byatt’s microbrewery was founded in 2011 for the craft ale lovers of Coventry and Warwickshire. They produce a strong core range of bottle conditioned beers, plus a variety of limited edition and seasonal ales. Byatt’s are hugely passionate about their beer, striving to be the best craft brewer in their area and to brew beers with a wow factor that people really enjoy, talk about and ultimately keep coming back for. Coventry’s craft brewer, Byatt’s is committed to producing excellent ales by using the best ingredients and through traditional methods.
The brewery was started in 2011 by Lee Byatt, owner/head brewer. His wife Shelley and co-director joined in 2014, to help with the increased workload and they haven’t looked back since. The husband and wife team work well together, complementing one another’s different and integral skills set. They have grown the business together and in 2016, moved to a new and larger premises to create a 12 barrel brewery and brewhouse bar. This was a huge undertaking but has made all the hard work worthwhile. Their aim is to produce great tasting, great quality beer to pubs and clubs within the region and they wish to be the brewer of choice where publicans’ have the freedom to use them. So, as well as producing great, quaffable beer, their pricing must be competitive, and the service levels have to be the best they possibly can. Byatts believe in growth at a reasonable rate to make sure none of the above is compromised.
