Langton Brewery logo

Originally brewed in the back of a local pub for the enjoyment of patrons and locals playing on the neighbouring cricket field.

Langton Brewery has since grown into a modern, fully-fledged brewery without losing their hands-on approach to making exceptional quality craft beers.

That means having direct influence and control over all the ingredients throughout their brewing process.

They have minimal automation at the brewery. Each day their brewers handle, smell and taste the raw ingredients. Their team are physically shifting and lifting all day.

Their Story

In the beginning Langton Brewery started at the back of the Bell Inn, East Langton in 1999. Originally, the brewery only intended to supply the pub and the local cricket club over the road.

However, people started to really enjoy drinking the beer, and the team rather enjoyed crafting it. Especially after the head brewer came up with a little recipe called Inclined Plane.

So it was decided to up production and move Langton Brewery to the idyllic Grange farm at Thorpe Langton, Leicestershire in 2005.

They are now in the middle of their journey and the popularity of their beers continues to grow. They have modernised the brand, bought new kit, lots more casks and are employing a larger team to deliver even more of their excellent craft beer
