Poulton Hill Estate is a small, family-run vineyard situated in the heart of the idyllic Cotswold countryside. Poulton Hill carefully hand harvested their first vintage in October 2012.

About Poulton Hill

Part of an exciting movement of English winemakers, Poulton Hill Estate was founded in 2010 and is situated in the idyllic Cotswold countryside, near the Roman town of Cirencester and Regency spa town of Cheltenham.

Our 8,800 vines have been planted on the warm and sunny south-facing slopes of Poulton Hill Estate. These vines can produce up to 20,000 bottles of wine a year and we also produce English spirits, from grapes harvested by hand.

About the Range

These range from the white Bacchus, Seyval Blanc and Phoenix to the red Pinot Noir, Regent and Rondo. The grape varieties complement their climate, geography and soil perfectly. These are carefully blended and balanced by their experienced contract winemaker and distiller to create their range of white, rosé, red and sparkling wines and spirits.

Sustainability

Poulton Hill believe they have a responsibility to be not just environmentally conscious but also environmentally active. It is a responsibility that they take very seriously, from the Babydoll sheep that graze the orchard to the wildflowers that they plant to help their insect population grow and thrive, which in turn helps the vines to flourish!
