Sky Wave Gin was launched in 2018 by partners Andy Parsons and Rachel Hicks, who were driven by the idea of creating a unique craft gin using flavours inspired by their lives and experiences. It took over 6 months and more than 40 recipe variations to get the smooth flavours of what you can now enjoy in Sky Wave’s multi award-winning Sky Wave Signature London Dry Gin. They have since crafted an exceptional range that includes their Orange & Madagascan Vanilla Gin, their Raspberry & Rhubarb Gin, a Cask Aged Gin and their Navy Strength Gin, all of which are available in 50cl, 20cl and 5cl bottles, and a multitude of different Gift Packs.

Their Story

Sky Wave Gin was born when it’s owners Rachel Hicks and Andrew Parsons, failed in their search for a perfect gin; so they decided to create their own. Launched in 2018, and already with more than 20 international medals under its belt, including the prestigious title of The World’s Best Contemporary Gin, World Gin Awards 2020, Sky Wave Gin is fast becoming everyone’s favourite tipple.

Its range of award winning artisan gins are all distilled by hand and with passion. Every single batch of gin to leave the distillery has been personally tasted by one of Sky Wave Gin’s two distillers, ensuring premium quality and consistency.

Locality, provenance, and food miles are held in great esteem. Sky Wave’s fruit gins use only whole fresh fruit and the local fruit growers are paid in gin. Nearby Blenheim Palace supplies the mineral water and some botanicals are foraged locally. Sky Wave is truly The Spirit of Oxfordshire.

It’s believed Sky Wave Gin is the only gin distillery based on a former WW2 RAF site, has a neighbouring ghost and welcomes pilots who fly in to buy its gin!
