Back after a year-long hiatus, enjoy a nice cold pint with the return of Cheltenham and Gloucester Beer Week 2023!
Running from Monday 11 – Sunday 17 September 2023, Cheltenham Beer Week is a celebration of beer and the Breweries around Cheltenham. Bespoke Brewing Co, Gloucester Brewery, Goffs Brewery, Hawkstone and Stroud Brewery are among the breweries involved in this year’s celebrations to name a few.
As is tradition, this year will also feature a specially brewed beer, this time brewed and canned at The Hop Kettle (Swindon) and assisted by Hawkstone (Bourton-on-the-water), who will brew the keg. The beer has been named ‘Five each way on Nectaron’ to honour both Cheltenham Racing and Nectaron, the primary hop in the beer.
Cheltenham Beer Week will be taking place at venues such as Bath Road Beers, Favourite Beers, The Vine, The Railway, The Swan, Sanford Park Ale House, The Bell at Shurdington, The Old Courthouse and The Suffolk Arms— with the week-long celebration encouraging the pints to flow at some of the county’s best venues.
Each venue will have special events throughout the week, including everything from quizzes and live music to food matched with perfectly paired beers.
All profits earned from Cheltenham and Gloucester Beer Week will be going to and supporting The National Star College in Ullenwood, which provides education and support for young people with complex disabilities.
